AC Milan remain interested in signing Fiorentina defender German Pezzella but face competition from Roma, according to a report.
There are some doubts about the future of certain Rossoneri defenders, above all Alessio Romagnoli whose contract is set to expire in June 2022 and nothing to suggest he is heading towards signing a renewal.
According to Calciomercato.it, Fiorentina’s captain – German Pezzella – could leave this summer as his contract expires in 2022 with Milan and Roma on his trail. Already close to being sold in October 2020 when Milan made a last-minute move, the Argentine defender still has a market in Serie A.
In the last few hours there has been talk of new contacts with Roma as per the report, but the Rossoneri have not given up on landing him either. After a disastrous end to the season, the Giallorossi may even miss out on the Europa League, which would not work in their favour.
