CM.it: Milan must resolve Romagnoli’s future as value hits €35m+; Sergio Ramos remains the dream

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have some knots to untie if they are to keep their defensive core in place, a report claims, while Sergio Ramos remains the ‘big dream’.

According to Calciomercato.it, the battle for the Scudetto could very well come down to which team out of Milan, Inter and Juventus has the most resolute defence, which for the Rossoneri highlights the importance of two renewals.

The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma is obviously a pressing matter as his contract expires at the end of the season and talks with his agent Mino Raiola are well underway.

There is another issue to resolve in Alessio Romagnoli, also represented by Raiola but with a contract expiring in June 2022. He has a current market valuation of around €35-40m as per the source, which could make it tempting to cash in if the club cannot renew on favourable terms.

The report concludes by saying that ‘the big dream’ is Sergio Ramos, who will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, even though his salary is astronomical.
