CM: Kessie’s future ‘further and further away’ from Milan – distance unlikely to be bridged

Franck Kessie’s future appears to be further and further away from AC Milan as talks over a renewal have stalled, a report claims.

Kessie held that now infamous words at the Olympic Games where he was on duty with the Ivory Coast, remarking how he would be at Milan as long as the club wanted him and that he would sort his renewal after returning to Italy.

A month and a half has now passed and not only have we not seen a formal signature, not only is no agreement imminent, but in fact every report from the media suggests things are in stand-by. We wrote about Kessie’s situation at length, and another worrying advert has emerged.

According to Calciomercato.com, Kessie’s future seems to be ‘further and further away’ from the Rossoneri. The negotiations over the extension of his deal have stalled and the distance is unlikely to be bridged between offer and demands.
