CM: Kessie’s future ‘further and further away’ from Milan – distance unlikely to be bridged

By Oliver Fisher -

Franck Kessie’s future appears to be further and further away from AC Milan as talks over a renewal have stalled, a report claims.

Kessie held that now infamous words at the Olympic Games where he was on duty with the Ivory Coast, remarking how he would be at Milan as long as the club wanted him and that he would sort his renewal after returning to Italy.

A month and a half has now passed and not only have we not seen a formal signature, not only is no agreement imminent, but in fact every report from the media suggests things are in stand-by. We wrote about Kessie’s situation at length, and another worrying advert has emerged.

According to Calciomercato.com, Kessie’s future seems to be ‘further and further away’ from the Rossoneri. The negotiations over the extension of his deal have stalled and the distance is unlikely to be bridged between offer and demands.

  1. Pls, is it possible we don’t talk about this guy till he renews or leaves? He sucks! Or better still is there a way I don’t get any news about Kessie on this site because it’s not making any sense at all. Thanks

  2. Milan need to report these agents and clubs to FIFA for tampering. Renewals would be easier if other teams weren’t making offers when technically they are not permitted to be approaching the player or agent

  3. In the new norm, transfer fees would change to salary to top players. Milan should focus to get top players in like belotti to strengthen the team and other renewals. Kessie role is well covered by Tonali. He can leave.

  4. Cut him out of the squad…Between Tonali,Bakayoko,Krunic we can manage. This management needs to put their foot down….do not play him…it affects the team to play with someone that is gonna leave.
    Bench him.and forget about him.

  5. These agents are killing football, club owners should come together to retire these greedy agent by not buying their players
