CM: Liverpool man offered on a free transfer but Milan are not convinced

By Isak Möller -

Naby Keita is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of his contract this summer and his entourage has offered his services to AC Milan. However, the Rossoneri have their concerns about the player, a report claims.

At the age of 28, Keita was to reignite his career with a new adventure elsewhere and as reported by Calciomercato.com, his entourage is working hard on that. However, he’s not the player he was when he joined Liverpool for €60m in 2018.

Milan have been offered his services but have not acted on the opportunity for two reasons: 1) his salary and 2) his injury struggles. Since he joined Liverpool, he has missed a whopping 84 games due to injuries.

Inter, on the other hand, are keener on the opportunity as per the report and it seems Keita could end up in that part of Milano instead. It should also be noted that Milan have decent depth in midfield already and will want to invest their money elsewhere (such as the attack).

    1. I agree Adama on the right would fix our right wing as he can also play as a right wing back in the current system. Youri Tielemans would be another player from the epl that I would take and if not him then Branco van den Boomen from Toulouse.
