CM: Liverpool’s interest in Milan winger confirmed but ‘crazy’ offer is needed – the situation

Christian Pulisic has picked up where he left off after a fantastic debut season at AC Milan, and another report has claimed that Liverpool are keeping an eye on him.

As Calciomercato.com recall, Milan won 3-0 against Lecce on Friday night and Pulisic got himself on the scoresheet again. After Alvaro Morata had opened the scoring with a precise header and then a Leao-Theo combination had doubled the lead, Milan scored a third in less than 5 minutes through the American.

Morata’s central run was followed by a feed to Abraham who hit the post, then the rebound eventually came back to him and the Englishman saw a shot saved by Falcone, but it landed at the feet of Pulisic who couldn’t miss from just a few yards out.

The former Chelsea man seems to be in the right place, at the right time, on every single occasion. He searches for the ball and is always on hand to bury chances. Since the start of last season (from 2023-24), no Serie A player has taken part in more goals than Pulisic across all competitions: 33 (20 goals and 13 assists), equal to Lautaro Martínez (29G + 4A).

It is understandable, therefore, that clubs are starting to take note and he has ended up in Liverpool’s sights to replace Mohamed Salah, in the event of the Egyptian’s farewell at the end of the season (his contract expires at the end of the season, on June 30, 2025).

The American began his season at Milan by scoring four goals and providing two assists in the first six Serie A games while he actually netted against Liverpool in the Champions League meeting at San Siro.

He has a contract with the Rossoneri until 2027, with an option to renew for another year. He is ‘very happy at Milan, feels like a leader and has no intention of leaving’, meaning it will ‘take a crazy move’ to make the directors even come to the negotiating table.

  1. He won’t be for sale anytime soon. Funnily, the reason they bought him is most probably to get the club more popular in the US market. Now that he demonstrated what a gem he is, he stays with us for as long as he wants to…

  2. Selling him would mean losing a very good player and the usa market.
Not gonna lie i was in doubt when we sign him with his injury record.
    But man he shows up!!!
Always work very hard for the team.
Best signing from last season til date.

  3. I have been following Puli from his Dortmund days.
He was appreciated by Dortmund and the German fans. Dortmund promised to build the team around him if he would stay.
Chelsea fans and management treated him like crap. The English fans resent American players.
He would not be treated well by the Liverpool fans.
He does not need the money and Italian fans have treated him with respect,
I cannot see him leaving in the near future.

  4. Think he has had his taste of the epl, won some silverware, had some injury issues, had to deal with the typical English club fans treatment. I don’t see him wanting to leave Milan and I also don’t see Milan even considering selling him anytime soon, in fact Milan are already pushing for a contract extension. Milan fans say the RW has been shit for close to a decade, so why sell a player that has fixed that problem. I don’t think he will ever go play in England again. He will either play at Milan til he is forced to go to the MLS or (hoping to cement himself as a Milan legend). Needs to stay consistent for that, but he is definitely on the right track

  5. Id take and offer between £55 to £65 million. Anything less and we couldn’t replace him properly. Still he’s having a great season hope he stays.
