Luka Romero was one of the first summer signings that AC Milan made but he is yet to make an appearance so far this season, leading to reflections on his future.
According to Calciomercato.com, Romero was considered a long-term investment for Milan. The Argentine enjoys the trust of Stefano Pioli and the management but has not yet made his league debut.
The reason for this is simply: although he was the first right winger to arrive, his signing was followed by the double additions of Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze from Chelsea and Villarreal respectively.
That means he is the third choice in the pecking order at the moment, and it cannot be ruled out that the Argentine could go and play on loan elsewhere in January.
No clubs are mentioned as being prospective suitors, but his positive performances in preseason might just have attracted the interest of some teams.
He looked fantastic in preseason and loved his energy to get back defensively. Hope that they don’t just loan him out and never give him an opportunity because I believe he will have a better showing than most we’ve tried at RW if given the opportunity.
One of the reason why i had hoped we would have stuck with the 4-2-3-1 is that it could have given our reinforcements a better chance to get minutes.
For example leao, pulisic, okafor for the left wing
pulisic, romero for cam
chukwueze, romero, pulisic for the right wing
the cam role could also in some matches have become a second striker with okafor closer to giroudl or jovic.
Anyways i agree romero is a really interesting player and certainly impressed during the summer and not only against weak oppositions so it would be a great shame if he were to never get his chance with us,

I said the same thing, lol. We should have sent him to Monza or any other team on loan where he could have got some playing time. He is not even third in line yk, he would probably play Musah there then give an 18 y/o game time.
A player cannot look good during preseason and then suddenly doesn’t gets a single minute
Pioli has an issue with integrating players, if he find his strong 11 he let other rot

Chukwueze is a first choice player at villa real than Pulisic was at Chelsea,, he now seats on the bench in Milan. These players needs to play to gain confidence. We cannot keep playing Giroud ahead of Okafor and Jovic.
Correct. And pioli would refuse to give people a chance. I think the last time adli started he actually scored. Then he was benched after that.
Poor rotations etc are a main cause of injury on this team I think.
When players actually do get a chance to play and they disappoint pioli will just bench them for another year lol.

Thats true i wonder pioli gives plays Giroud 60-70 minutes while players like okafur the remaining. The young players needs to be given chances to show there possibility to the team
No Romero is part of our team all the players we have are all important but what I want to address is that Loftus cheek should should not be a starter we need a strong midfield like Yunus musah, he has all it takes to complete the midfield Loftus cheek problem is that he doesn’t have stamina he falls a lot in a match musah should be given a starting with Okafor in the match but Pioli I must advised you if you must start leao in any match you must play the 4-2-3-1 if you want leao to score or to make an impact other wise coach your wasting your time
