CM: London calling for Milan – talks on with Chelsea as trio attract interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are thinking about strengthening their attacking department in the next couple of transfer windows and there are a couple of players at Chelsea that are reportedly attracting their attention.

According to Calciomercato.com, Hakim Ziyech and Armando Broja are two players that the Rossoneri management are particularly keen on, with both of them currently struggling for playing time at Chelsea.

Relations between Milan and the Premier League side are good and contacts continue, with the Rossoneri having been keen on Ziyech since the summer and now the Moroccan wants to use the World Cup as a springboard to relaunch himself and convince Milan to move for him.

The Albanian striker has also been in Maldini and Massara’s notebook for some time and they believe he could be the right profile for the centre-forward of the future, but the first choice remains Noah Okafor of RB Salzburg.

Chelsea extended Broja’s contract until 2028 suggesting they are backing him to come good, but in practice Graham Potter is giving him little playing time, preferring more seasoned players such as Aubameyang and a loan deal could therefore be discussed.

While Milan are keen on the two Chelsea forwards, the Blues are among the most interested teams in Rafael Leao and therefore it is an interweaving that could become increasingly intense in the coming weeks. The Portuguese winger is not close to renewing with Milan who could sell if the situation does not improve.
