CM: Lucas Paqueta fitness update – when the Milan midfielder will return

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to welcome back Lucas Paqueta for the next game against Bologna, according to a report.

The Rossoneri were forced to make the trip to Parma on Sunday without the Brazil international, who was suffering from muscular discomfort and as such was not risked.

Franck Kessie and Giacomo Bonaventura were deployed as the central midfield pairing either side of the regista Ismael Bennacer, but it was Theo Hernandez who had the decisive say as he netted an 88th minute winner.

According to Calciomercato.com, Paqueta will be back training with the group starting on Tuesday in order to prepare for the match against Bologna.

Having found himself at the centre of Pioli’s plans as Milan head coach so far, the former Flamengo man can be expected to feature at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara if he is deemed to be in the right physical condition.
