AC Milan have turned their attentions back to Florentino Luis of Benfica as they are struggling to close a deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko, a report claims.
Contacts between the clubs and the player will continue over the next few days, with the player pushing to return to the Rossoneri, but it appears Chelsea are not backing down on their demands which means things have not gone as quick as Milan wanted.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have returned to Florentino Luis. The club are struggling to close the deal for Bakayoko with Chelsea, and as such they have met with the entourage of Florentino on Friday.
Paolo Maldini and the player’s agent held a meeting at a well-known hotel in the centre of Milan. Fulham are also keen on the 20-year-old, and the Premier League side want him on loan with an option to buy totalling €18m, rejected by the Portuguese club but the same formula Milan want.
