AC Milan are preparing to close the eighth addition of a frantic summer transfer window as Yunus Musah is set to arrive, a report claims.
As Calciomercato.com are reporting, the exit of Ante Rebic to Besiktas will bring about a gross saving of around €14m and now Milan are looking to use those savings to close a deal for Musah with Valencia.
The parties have come very close in the last few hours after a stalemate. The Murcielagos have dropped from their €25m demands while Milan’s offer of €18m has always remained the same.
Only the final details are missing while the Rossoneri management have had an agreement with the USA international over personal terms for about a month.
In the afternoon there will likely be decisive talks between the in a conference call between Geoffrey Moncada, Giorgio Furlani and the management of the LaLiga side. The aim is to get Musah it Italy on Monday for his medical.
Great to hear! Good to hear we are now having players exit we didn’t think would exit. And now another signing!
Great news! This kid has big potential and will bring speed and physicality that we desperately need. Another good signing.
Actually is a good plan, milan management are doing well in essence that they don’t for players to exit before signing new ones.in that process their will be left with no choice than to leave
This is really great, though I can’t understand which of the new signing won’t be a starter
Musah, RLC, Reijnders or Pulisic?
Probably Pulisic will be a sub for Chuck, Leao, or RLC.
But i think Pioli promised Pulsic to be a starter.
Most likely Pulisic will be a sub for both wings and Musah for both mezzalas (Reijnders and RLC).
Musah is going to be a 6
Tell me you haven’t seen him play without saying you haven’t seen him play…
He’s going to be a 6 mate, trust me I’m more competent than you
” trust me I’m more competent than you”
😀 😀 😀
A loooooooooot of competent scouts here, LOL!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀
Every competent here on this site says there three things about every one:
1. He’s too old.
2. He’s too slow.
3. He’s injury prone.
That’s the quality of the competent scouts here. 😀
Musa will be back to back with Krunic
“Players only wanted to come here because of Maldini”
The Krunic effect lol
I really like what I’ve been seeing on watching his play style. But I reckon that he has a more attacking natural trait than, let’s say, Kessie. Same with Tijani and RLC as well. We need more defensive traits. Seeing his age and potential, hopefully he can be molded into a more defensive role. As he has the traits needed to excel.
I can’t help but wonder… where is the good old Bennacer in all this!?
I really don’t see Bennacer can easily step into the first team after coming back from a long time injury, and need to get used to with 4-3-3 formation. He will need more time to recover his physicality, form and furthermore, building up chemistry with new teammates.
If he can’t Milan may even put him on the market if there is good offers coming from Saudi. It is sad but potentially happen.
As much as we might need extra players (there will be always room for improvement), I think it’s enough for now with the additions.
It will be increasingly difficult to adjust so many new players.
We have a nice group already, let it work and adjust. There will other transfer windows to fix issues. We should expect also that some of the new signings will not be fully successful, it’s inevitable.
Reijnders should play as regista dictating the play from deep and moving the ball from defence with ease. Musah and RLC as mazzela. They don’t necessarily need a hard worker or tackler in front of the ,they should be pressing high up to minimize defensive coverings of the midfielders who are not very defensive
Ac Milan is moving mad this transfer window. I am so happy with what I am seeing. Milan fixing problematic areas in the team. I am so excited about what it to come in the future.
Our problems persist in defense. Our midfield and front three look great, but we need to shore up the back line. Set pieces continue to be an issue as is confusion in man marking. Thiaw looks solid. Tomori Keri’s making sloppy passes. Kjaer while a leader is too slow to be relevant. Florenzi too. Davide has been inconsistent.
We won’t be able to compete in Europe/Italy if our defense does not improve.
