CM: Milan prepare to announce double swoop worth €7m – the details

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are set to redeem Alessandro Florenzi and Junior Messias from Roma and Crotone respectively. Agreements have been reached on the figures and the countdown has begun, a report claims.

Both ended up playing a rather important role for Milan this past season, albeit with ups and downs, and it’s not surprising that the Rossoneri want to keep them. Especially at the figures that these deals are worth.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan will pay €2.7m to Roma for the redemption of Florenzi and they will pay €4.5m to Crotone for Messias. That makes for a total of €7.2m and a substantial discount overall, which is great work by Maldini and Massara.

It might not be the flashiest of signings (which is to come this summer), but still two important ones for Milan. It will be necessary to have depth next season, especially given the Rossoneri’s aim to go further in the Champions League.

  1. How is this a “swoop”? Two cheapo loans who performed OK, one of whom will probably be sold on for a profit immediately. Meanwhile serious club owners are buying up the best players in the world. And I bet Origi won’t join either.

    Milan are a bad joke.

  2. They should have used that money to buy Bellanova, then sign Bernardeschi for free, he is a million times better than Messias, even if they have the intention of selling him for profit, that’s a stupid move, their is no team in Europe that’s going to pay 10 million for a very very average player.

    1. What is wrong with you people!?
      What is wrong with Gazidis!!!?
      His contract will expire soon!
      .
      Shame on Elliot!
