The race for Dominik Szoboszlai is seriously heating up with a number of clubs now in pursuit, according to a report.
As Calciomercato.com notes, Szoboszlai is a pupil of Ralf Rangnick and the German would like to take him to Milan where he will begin a new adventure this summer. The contacts are ongoing and the two parties are not too far apart in terms of agreeing personal terms.
However, the work is ‘continuous and incessant’ because the Hungarian has a release clause of €24million (payable in three instalments) which makes him very attractive on the international market.
Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Hertha Berlin are in contact with agent Matyas Esterhazy but it is Napoli that have moved more decisively.
Cristiano Giuntoli and Rino Gattuso have put Dominik’s name at the top of the list to reinforce the midfield and are ready to pay the termination clause, as per Sky.
Milan have been informed and must now speed up their operations if they do not want to miss out on a player that Rangnick wants so badly.
