CM: Milan working ‘under the radar’ on €40m striker – Arsenal and Chelsea also keen

By Oliver Fisher -

It is now basically a formality that AC Milan will have to invest in a new striker at some point before the start of next season, and there is a target from the Bundesliga that is catching their eye.

Olivier Giroud is now 37 and cannot be asked to start every game any more, while Luka Jovic has so far been a gamble that has not paid off and Noah Okafor is not seen as a pure No.9, so the time will come to sign the centre-forward of the future which will not come cheap.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan are ‘working under the radar’ to strengthen the attack as early as the January transfer window if the right targets and conditions are found.

Among the profiles that the Rossoneri management like is that of Benjamin Sesko, who has netted six goals for RB Leipzig across all competitions this season.

His price is already €40m plus given his age (20) and potential. His agent has opened up the possibility of move to Italy and to Milan specifically, but competition from Chelsea and Arsenal is expected.
