CM: Milan closely monitoring four Argentine starlets as focus shifts from Brazil

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are currently monitoring four young Argentina stars with interest ahead of potential moves, a report claims.

Owners Elliott Management have so far deployed a recruitment policy centered around signing talented young players and developing them into stars, as was seen with the purchases of Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer – all of whom arrived in the summer and are under 22.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with moves for a number of South American starlets, and according to a report on Calciomercato.com attentions have turned from Brazil (after Leonardo’s departure) to Argentina in the quest to unearth gems.

They report that Racing Club star Matias Zaracho is a target. The playmaker is 21 years old and has two goals plus one assist in 12 league games so far this season.

Striker Adolfo Gaich is also mentioned as a target, with Fox Argentina (via BolaVIP) recently claiming that Milan are ready to present an offer of €10million for 20-year-old.

Newell’s Old Boys midfielder Juan Sforza is on the list as well, having just starred for Argentina at the U17 World Cup, where another target in Atletico Rafaela striker Matias Godoy also played.
