CM: Milan closing in on signing of €5m man – personal terms agreed as Monaco make promise

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are moving closer and closer to being able to announce the signing of left-back Fode Ballo-Toure from Monaco, a report claims.

There has been constant speculation over the past couple of days that Milan are looking to sign Ballo-Toure to occupy the role of deputy to Theo Hernandez on the left side of defence, after Diego Laxalt joined Dynamo Moscow on a permanent deal.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com has tweeted to confirm Milan are closing in on the signing of Ballo-Toure. Monaco have dropped their requests to €5m, and only the last details on the formula of the deal must be agreed.

Not only that, but the Rossoneri management have reached an agreement with the player over personal terms, and after having already signed his replacement from Monaco, the French club have promised the player that they will let him leave for Milan. The operation, it seems, is moving quickly.
