CM: Milan confident of sealing €25m Rebic signing – talks with Eintracht over swap deal

AC Milan are expected to complete the permanent signing of Ante Rebic from Eintracht Frankfurt before next season, a report claims.

After a difficult first few months of the season Rebic has exploded in the Rossoneri colours, netting 10 times in Serie A since the start of the season across his last 11 appearances.

According to Calciomercato.com, there has been a discussion ongoing with Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director Fredi Bobic for several weeks regarding the fate of Rebic and Andre Silva, who joined the Bundesliga club as part of an exchange of two-year loan deals.

The Portuguese striker has also convinced as he has 15 goals in all competitions, and that is why the two clubs are talking about making the respective deals permanent this summer, a year ahead of the loan expiry.

There is a rough agreement on the basis of a €25million fee for Rebic, but the two clubs are working on an equal exchange, a double deal with identical figures.

The two sides are also negotiating with Fiorentina as they have a 50% sell-on clause on Rebic after they sold him to Eintracht in 2016,but there is great optimism for the success of the deal.
