CM: Milan continue to scout rising Netherlands star; eyes on next June

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are reportedly still interested in a move for AZ Alkmaar sensation Myron Boadu having scouted him a number of times.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that Milan sent a scout to watch Northern Ireland host the Netherlands in a Euro 2020 qualifier over the international break, with Boadu – who has 14 goals in all competitions already this season – set to be observed.

The 18-year-old striker has exploded onto the scene this season, and now the same outlet have provided an update on the Rossoneri’s reported interest.

The report claims that Milan are unlikely to make an immediate move for Boadu given the summer investment they made on another young forward in Rafael Leao.

However, ‘scouts sent by Milan constantly receive more and more positive reports’ and Milan fear missing out on the Dutch sensation, while AZ Alkmaar are hoping for an auction next June so they can get the best possible capital gain for their academy product.
