CM: Milan formulate €25-30m offer to beat Inter, Man Utd to defender after meeting with agent

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have held talks with agent Fali Ramadani over the potential signing of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Ramadani met Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara to take stock of the situation on Tuesday. The Rossoneri are very interested in the Serbia international and could formulate the following offer: a paid loan with obligation to buy at a total of €25-30m.

It will be necessary to see if Fiorentina are open to a sale in the winter window, but the report adds that it is more likely that the issue will be postponed to next summer, when Maldini and Massara will find it easier to negotiate on more favourable terms.

Viola president Rocco Commisso values the player at €35-40m, but as his contractual deadline of June 2022 approaches his price will have to drop. Milenkovic is drawn to the idea of trying a new experience elsewhere, but Inter, Manchester United and Tottenham are all interested too.
