CM: Milan hatch plan regarding Brazilian playmaker with four-year contract ready

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to table a contract offer to Porto playmaker Otavio in the hopes of signing him on a free transfer, a report claims.

Through our correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota, we revealed how Milan are monitoring Otavio ahead of the summer window as a potential free transfer opportunity, and this has since gone on to be reported by a number of other sources too with some even claiming a contract offer has been tabled.

Fabrizio Romano then revealed on his Here We Go podcast (via R1F) that there are many clubs interested in Otavio given his current contractual situation, enticed by the possibility of adding a solid creative option for no transfer fee, with Milan one of them.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan are in talks with the entourage of Otavio and they have a plan in mind regarding how to complete the operation. The source claims that the idea of Maldini and Massara is to offer a contract until 2025, which would see the player hit 30.
