AC Milan have concrete interest in signing Dominik Szoboszlai from Red Bull Salzburg this summer but face competition from a rival, a report claims.
The 19-year-old has attracted the headlines after a fantastic season so far in Austria during which he has amassed a combined 22 goals and assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
Milan are one of the clubs who have been repeatedly linked with a move for Szoboszlai given it was Ralf Rangnick – the Rossoneri’s possible new manager – who was instrumental in signing him for Salzburg.
According to Monday’s edition of the newspaper il Corriere dello Sport (as cited by Calciomercato.com), Milan are seriously considering making a concrete move to try and sign the Hungary international.
However there are two obstacles at present: the first is that Salzburg have set an asking price of €25million for the teenager, and the second is that fellow Serie A side Lazio are also keen.
