CM: Milan keen on Barcelona defender again – meeting with agents could happen soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to have reignited their interest in signing Barcelona full-back Junior Firpo, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com writes that the management know it is necessary to strengthen the Rossoneri squad with the right additions, and operations like the permanent arrival of Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali are underway.

Loanee Diogo Dalot was certainly a very important player for Milan last season because of his tactical flexibility, but it will be difficult for Milan to keep him because Manchester United are asking for €20m if he is to leave permanently.

This is why Frederic Massara could return to a target from the January window in Junior Firpo. The Spanish defender will leave Barcelona given that Ronald Koeman is staying, while his agents are in Italy and could soon have a new meeting with Milan. At the moment he represents an idea, but it could become something more.
