MN: Milan want a young striker and a goal scoring right winger – latest on Giroud

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not looking to pay a transfer fee for Olivier Giroud but could still close his signing, according to a report.

According to MilanNews, Milan are interested in Giroud and if the entourage of the Frenchman manage to get Chelsea to let him leave on a free transfer, Milan will be ready to close the operation. His agents has ensured that the Blues have promised they will let him go in the event of an offer from a foreign club.

Giroud is not considered a real dangerous goalscorer like Ibrahimovic, but he is a striker of great experience and reliability who would take over from Mandzukic. It is clear that there is no comparison between the two in terms of physical condition, despite the fact that they are the same age.

The Rossoneri management intend to sign another striker too, and would like to combine Giroud with a promising young centre-forward who can learn from two experienced players, plus a goal scoring right winger is also sought.

  1. Maybe they can try deploying JPH to the RW position since he can play in that position too, if he’s good then he can widen the team’s depth.
