CM: Milan, Leicester and Everton among five interested in want-away €25m Barcelona man

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of five clubs in the running to land defender Jean-Clair Todibo from Barcelona this summer, according to a report.

The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Todibo during the January transfer window but he eventually ended up joining Schalke on loan from Barcelona with an option to buy.

However, he returned to the Catalan side as Schalke ended up not exercising their option to buy on the Frenchman, whose future is once again back up in the air.

Meanwhile, Milan are believed to be in the market for a new central defender given that they will start the 2020-21 season on Thursday with very thin depth due to the fact Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Mussachio are still recovering from injury.

Mundo Deportivo reported earlier in the week that Todibo – who is valued at €25m – has once again ended up on Milan’s wish list, and il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported the same.

According to Calciomercato.com, Todibo wants to leave Barcelona in the summer transfer window in search of more playing time elsehwere. The 20-year-old is mentioned as a target for Milan, as well as Wolverhampton, Leicester, Benfica and Everton.
