CM: Milan discuss Liverpool midfielder and Sassuolo duo in Raiola meeting – the details

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have shown interest in signing Ryan Gravenberch from Liverpool and Marcus Holmgren Pedersen from Sassuolo after a meeting with the late Mino Raiola’s agency.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan directors Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani have been in talks with Raiola’s agency which has been run by Rafaela Pimenta since his death, and Gravenberch and Pedersen came up.

With Paulo Fonseca expected to be named as the new coach next week, succeeding Stefano Pioli, Moncada and Furlani are hard at work in Milan trying to make sure the right signings are made quickly to ensure a successful season.

Gravenberch has spent one season at Liverpool and failed to make much of an impact in the Premier League, meaning the English club would likely entertain bids for him this summer. Milan have shown interest in Gravenberch before, specifically when he was still at Ajax.

It seems that Milan still would not be able to afford Gravenberch to bolster the midfield, but they will monitor his situation as the summer progresses.

The other player that Milan have shown interest in is Pedersen from Sassuolo, who have just been relegated to Serie B.  He has been on loan from Feyenoord so that is who Milan would be negotiating with for the right-back.

  1. Sassuolo has a buy option on Marcus Holmgren Pedersen so its probably not feyenoord we would have to negotiate with as the italians probably would be able to earn some much needed cash above what they would need to pay the dutchmen.

      1. That could be a factor but i doubt it because the club still spemd a year further developing him but who knows.
