CM: Milan make decision on Brahim Diaz – it will be communicated to his entourage soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made a decision on the future of Brahim Diaz after his struggles in the second half of last season, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, the renewals of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will come first and then they already have clear ideas on what to do in the summer market. Renato Sanches will arrive from Lille to replace Franck Kessie and work is underway to sign his team-mate Sven Botman too.

Once these two critical issues of the squad have been resolved, the Rossoneri will go in search of a right winger and a playmaker who has more physicality than Brahim Diaz, with Charles De Ketelaere the favourite.

However, the eventual arrival of the Belgian does not and will not change the future of Brahim Díaz. Maldini, Massara and head coach Stefano Pioli strongly believe in the playmaker so he will remain with the Rossoneri for at least another season, completing the two-year loan.

A decision has now been made after a lot of speculation about a potential early return to Spain, and it will be communicated to the Spaniard’s agents in the coming days.

  1. Please let him go. Not only he’s not a good player, developing him will not be beneficial for us also since he is a Real Madrid player, so why waste time on him?

    1. Because otherwise Milan would need to buy TWO #10s instead of just one. IF Diaz can return to the level of last September he would be an important asset. If not… Well… There’s the January transfer windows then.

      1. “Need to buy TWO #10!?”
Maybe you forget we did sign one last summer, and his name is Yacine Adli!
Also, Pobega and Renato can cover there better than Krunic and Kessie.
        .
I am agree with Alireza. Brahim is more winger than CAM. He is not a perfect #10.

  2. The truth is that the only way Milan is willing to keep Diaz is if they are expected to pay any compensation fee if they cancel the loan, Milan is so stingy that they are willing to keep the player than pay any compensation fee, same thing is happening with bakayoko now…..the team have outgrown Diaz and he can no longer keep up, so whatever Milan decides, it doesn’t change the fact that Diaz no longer fits with this group
