CM: Milan not considering selling full-back as his recovery from injury continues

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will not sell defender Andrea Conti in the current transfer window despite rumours an offer has arrived, a report claims.

Journalist Alessandro Jacobone stated on Tuesday night that Milan have received an offer for Conti, and that is what has fuelled the serious interest in a new full-back – namely Dalot – which has since been confirmed by Sky.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, Conti will not leave before October 5 unless there is a surprise twist. The arrival of Pierre Kalulu from Lyon and the start to the season from Davide Calabria have not changed Milan’s plans: they do not want to sell the former Atalanta man.

In the transfer market, no possibility must be excluded, but to date there are no signs that Conti will leave in the current window. In fact he is currently thinking only of recovering from the operation on the meniscus of his left knee that he underwent at the end of July.

Pioli believes he should be back after the break, but it will take some time to get up to game speed, though it appears almost certain that his recovery will continue at Milan.
