CM: Milan offered Brazilian striker for €10m during meeting with entourage – Maldini’s response

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have held exploratory talks over the possibility of signing Santos striker Kaio Jorge this summer, a report claims.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the management are looking for the best solutions to complete the staff available to Stefano Pioli, and they want to reinforce the centre-forward department, with Olivier Giroud of Chelsea at the top of the list of preferences, but not the only name.

That is because Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are considering whether to invest even in a profile with greater potential, and the 19-year-old Santos striker Kaio Jorge was again proposed to Milan by his agents and by the intermediaries who move around Italy.

His current contract will expire on December 31st and therefore he could move to Europe for a figure of around €10m, which is the figure that was learned during a meeting held in recent days at Casa Milan between the representatives of Jorge’s entourage and the Rossoneri management.

A commission would have to be paid to the agents involved too, and the response of Maldini and Massara was lukewarm, because to date Milan are focused on other fronts and the Brazilian is not considered a priority.
