CM: Milan offered €24m Real Madrid playmaker – the Rossoneri’s response

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, a report claims.

The necessity to reinforce the squad with a couple of elements in January is quite clear with Paolo Maldini, Zvonomir Boban and Ricky Massara working to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s squad during the winter transfer window.

One area that may be of interest is signing a playmaker, especially if the idea of switching to a 3-4-1-2 if Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrives is an option.

Marca recently claimed that Brahim Diaz has a ‘serious proposal from Milan’ and that Real Madrid hope that the 20-year-old reconsiders his intention to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu so that they can raise money for reinforcements in other areas.

Now, an update from Calciomercato.com claims that the Rossoneri have been offered the chance to sign Diaz – who has made just three competitive appearances all season.

However, the report goes on to add that at the moment Milan are not interested and are instead focusing their attention on other areas.

Diaz moved to Los Blancos from Manchester City over the summer in a deal which could rise to €24m (via Wikipedia).
