CM: Milan one step away from signing Real Madrid midfielder – anti Man Utd clause included

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are closing in on securing a midfield reinforcement from Real Madrid on loan with an option to buy, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are ready to close a new signing in Brahim Diaz after the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the Spaniard now ‘one step away’ from joining the Rossoneri.

Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been in talks with Real Madrid for days over the 21-year-old, who can play either behind the striker or on either wing, and after at first Los Blancos refused the idea of a sale an agreement has been reached.

It will be a loan with option to buy, and interestingly in the operation there is also a clause that prevents him moving to Manchester United in the future, demanded by Manchester City at the time of his move to Real.

The final approval of the player is now expected, but great optimism filters.
