AC Milan are closing in on a move to reinforce the Primavera squad as they are on the verge of signing Leonardo D’Alessio from Roma, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are moving in the summer market not only to bolster the first team but also the youth sector and in particular the Primavera, who struggled last season upon their return to the top flight and narrowly avoided a relegation play-off.
The report states that the Rossoneri are one step away from closing the purchase of Leonardo D’Alessio from Roma. The 18-year-old was a star of their Under 18 team having racked up 2 goals and 4 assists in 28 league games at that level.
He has also made a couple of appearances for their Primavera side and is on the radar of the international set-up too given that he has made his debut for the Italian U18 national side. Now, a new adventure in Milano awaits.
