CM: Milan ready to launch new bid for playmaker target after completing triple signing

By Oliver Fisher -

With less than two weeks of the transfer window left, AC Milan are still looking for the right reinforcement for the attacking midfielder role.

As Calciomercato.com writes, Milan have been busy on several fronts to complete the squad in view of the upcoming season, with Alessandro Florenzi set to arrive as the back-up right-back, an agreement close with Yacine Adli from Bordeaux and Tiemoue Bakayoko close to returning from Chelsea.

Regarding the No.10 role, Maldini and Massara’s target is still Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow. They had a first offer rejected weeks ago worth €5m for the loan and €20m as an option to buy, but now the situation could change as the Russian club are considering accepting a paid loan with option to buy which could become an obligation upon the achievement of certain conditions.

To sign Vlasic though the Rossoneri must make a new offer and meet the demands of the Russians, but abid could be launched in the next few days to convince CSKA to let him leave.

Real Madrid’s Isco remains an alternative and the excellent relations between the two clubs could also help a difficult negotiation, while Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea is also a target but a difficult one to sign.
