CM: Milan ready to offer €45m for striker as tensions at Real Madrid continue to rise

By Oliver Fisher -

Tensions are increasing between Real Madrid and striker Luka Jovic after the latest episode which has irritated the LaLiga side, a report claims.

The Serbia international joined Los Blancos for €60million from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, and he recently became the protagonist of another episode that has put him at the centre of controversy.

After violating the quarantine at the start of the lockdown, his latest photo posted on Instagram (and then removed) showed the 22-year-old outside a soccer field grilling with friends.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, his newest stunt has caused a strong irritation at Real Madrid, both in the locker room and among the club’s management.

The report cites Spanish sources in claiming that some of the team’s leaders believe Jovic has a cold personality and a slightly aggressive character on the pitch, something which has caused them to have doubts.

That hasn’t put Milan off though, and the outlet adds that Rossoneri have long been in contact with both Real and with agent Fali Ramadani to try to strike up an operation on the basis of a two-year loan with option or obligation to buy.

The player would like to revive and redeem himself in Madrid, plus his €5million-a-year salary makes things difficult, but Milan are willing to go up to €45million in terms of transfer fee to sign the former Benfica man.

Jovic’s position in Madrid hangs in the balance, while the Rossoneri remain at the window.
