CM: Milan, Roma and Fiorentina keeping tabs as asking price of €17m is set for Italian striker

AC Milan are tempted to make a move for Sassuolo-owned striker Gianluca Scamacca but his asking price is currently high, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan, Fiorentina and Roma are all keen on the Italy U21 international and Sassuolo have left all doors open, even though the player is on loan at Genoa. The Neroverdi are ready to listen to offers starting from a base of €17-18million and if a convincing offer should arrive, they will talk to Genoa to discuss his loan deal.

He grew up in the youth sector at Roma and they are thinking of bringing him back to the capital, while he is a striker that Fiorentina need, but in the background Milan are looking for a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic albeit for June more than for January.

Maldini likes the player and respects the parameters set by Ivan Gazidis, but it must also be noted that Sassuolo refused an offer of a €1m loan with €24m buy-out for Scamacca from Sporting Braga in the summer. They believe in the player but are ready to sit down if the right offer arrives, otherwise he will remain at Genoa until June.
