AC Milan have scheduled in a meeting with Alvaro Morata’s intermediary for the coming week, according to a report.
Among the many objectives for the Milan management during the summer transfer window is to sign a striker who offers guarantees in terms of goal scoring output and can lend a hand to Olivier Giroud, given he will soon turn 37.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, a summit with Morata’s intermediary is scheduled for the coming week. He adds that the Atletico Madrid striker remains ‘one of the most concrete options’ for Milan.
Morata knows Serie A well given that he has had two separate two-year spells with Juventus. From 2014 to 2016 he amassed 63 Serie A appearances and scored 15 goals adding 12 assists.
During his return spell from 2020 to 2022 he played 67 games in the league and netted 20 goals with 16 assists. He has never been a prolific scorer, but is more of a creative forward.

If we can get him on loan paying a percentage of his fee, great, will be good interchangeable forward to alternate with Giroud.
If it’s a fee and a huge salary then too big a risk IMO.
At this point, I will rather gladly accept Icardi and his baggage than Morata.
Even Icardi’s wife is more welcome – and useful – than Morata.

Morata cannot increase his value anymore , zero chance gery will approve this transfer unless morata free transfer and accept 3m euro nett salary offer ( well thats imposible) . Its not only about resale value, money ball also utilizes older athletes and sometimes in new positions, either way hope you are right but on the other hand i dont hope so because then we will end up with Moussa Dembélé who recently ran his contract down with lyon 🙁
Morata, like Lukaku and Werner, is capable of quality but incapable of consistency. He will miss easy chances when you needed a goal the most. This would be a disastrous signing.

At least Torres managed to score one goal. I doubt Morata could do that.
His scoring record has been roughly 1 in 3 every where he’s been, with a decent assists record for a striker. Not sure why you’d expect that to hugely change.
