AC Milan chief scout Geoffrey Moncada has picked out two major targets for the club that he wishes to pursue in the upcoming window, a report claims.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Moncada is leading the way in terms of Milan’s recruitment for the summer, and he has earmarked two main targets.
The outlet claims that the two big dreams of the ex-Monaco scout are Luka Jovic and Mario Gotze of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
The most concrete and attainable objective at this point remains Dominik Szoboszlai of Red Bull Salzburg, but Lazio remain ahead in the race.
It has been reported by the same outlets that Milan are readying a €40m bid to sign Jovic, who has struggled at Real Madrid since his €60m arrival at the Bernabeu from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.
Meanwhile, Gotze is out of contract at the end of the season and would be available on a free, and is believe to be keen on moving to Italy due to his partner’s job as a model.
Between them, the pair have combined for 83 goals in 283 Bundesliga appearances.
