CM: Milan set aside €40m to seal signing of exit-bound Real Madrid striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have set aside a substantial fee to try and seal the signing of Luka Jovic this summer, according to a report.

Milan are waiting to understand if Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be playing in a Rossoneri shirt next season, but those in charge of the market are moving to make sure they are not caught off guard regardless.

The man that has been strongest linked with a move to Milan is Jovic, who has struggled since sealing a €60m move to the Bernabeu from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier on Saturday that Real are willing to sell Jovic, and he could be available for €40-50m, with the paper adding that the club can afford to spend a significant amount for the player, perhaps on a loan with an obligation to buy.

According to what is being reported by calciomercato.com, Milan have set aside €40million to make an offer for Jovic, and are considering bidding that amount for the 22-year-old in the coming weeks.
