AC Milan are still considering whether to make a contract offer to Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze, according to a report.
Gotze’s current contract expires on June 30 meaning his representatives will actively be looking for a new destination for the World Cup winner.
It was recently reported that Gotze dreams of a transfer to Italy as his next football adventure, something which linked to the future of his wife, Ann-Kathrin, a German model who has many working relationships with Italy.
The 27-year-old was apparently proposed to Milan in the winter window, but Ralf Rangnick had reportedly given the Rossoneri the go ahead to table a deal to Gotze, a player he admires.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan are still considering making an offer to Gotze.
The transfer outlet adds that the Rossoneri are hoping that the Germany international will lower his salary demands, as the wage he currently receives at Dortmund falls outside their parameters.
