CM: Milan still keen on €25m Salzburg playmaker but Chelsea and Atletico join the hunt

AC Milan are still in the race to land Dominik Szoboszlai, a report claims, but there is plenty of competition from other clubs.

According to Calciomercato.com, Napoli and Milan are still at the window even though Ralf Rangnick will not arrive as the new manager of the Rossoneri, as the club’s management are looking for a talented young playmaker to reinforce their ranks.

However, PSG, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are also in the running and there is a certainty that Szoboszlai remains in all respects a deal for anyone who can convince him.

After racking up 8 goals and 11 assists in 11 games since the Coronavirus break with Salzburg, at the age of just 19, it is no surprise that some of Europe’s elite are beginning to circle.

He can play basically anywhere in the midfield and even as a winger, and he would cost no more than €25million due to his release clause and he relatively low salary within the reach of all the big names.
