CM: Milan to closely watch €50m Red Bull Salzburg duo during Roma clash

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are closely watching the development of two Red Bull Salzburg talents who will be in action against Roma tonight, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com write about how Milan have initiated the first contacts with forward Noah Okafor, who is ready to leave Salzburg in the summer to make the leap to a top club. The Swiss international appreciates the Rossoneri’s interest, and the asking price is currently around €35m.

While waiting to see what will happen with the future of Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic among others, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will keep watching Okafor who has 13 goal contributions in 24 games across all competitions this season so far.

They will also monitor Maurits Kjærgaard, a Kakà-inspired trequartista (can also play in midfield) who last year became the second-youngest scorer in the Champions League after Jude Bellingham.

Milan already tried to sign the Dane a few years ago and now they are aware he has developed into a player who could make an instant difference, knowing that at least €15m would be needed to sign him.
