CM: Milan’s plans for the summer window outlined – €38m duo targeted plus a €25m+ striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan got the job done against Atalanta on Sunday night to secure a return to the Champions League after a seven-year absence.

As Calciomercato.com reports, an extra €50m will enter the club’s coffers and that allows the Rossoneri to have a rather exciting summer transfer window. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have already obtained the green light from Fikayo Tomori and the first move will be to buy him permanently from Chelsea for €28m.

There is great optimism that Brahim Diaz could stay on loan for another year from Real Madrid, while the club will talk with Manchester United about Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese defender would like to stay and Milan would gladly keep him, but on one condition: United must accept a new loan with option to buy, which seems difficult.

A €25-30m striker will arrive, of the Andrea Belotti mould. New contacts with Toulouse are expected to try and sign Amine Adli for €10m for the right wing while the track that leads to Josip Iiclic is always alive as the player wants the move.

  1. Let Hakan go. Bring on Illicic. New Striker preferably Vlahovic or Belloti. Adil or Ikone for RW. Tonali and Tomori permanent. Extend Brahim and Dalot.
Donnarumma only if he is agreeing to 8M deal for atleast 3 years or else LEAVE

    1. I concur with you.

For striker position, we better take both, Belotti n Vlahovic if budget allows… We shall b playing twice weekly.

  2. Milan doesn’t need Ilicic, he is an old player and he doesn’t need one. Colhanoglu is not leaving Milan, COLHANOGLU IS THE LEADER; TEAM LEADER and so it will be. I hope we buy Icons, and if we have the money to buy Beloti from Turin, Diaz goes Dalot goes Samu Castillejo goes Soualiho Meïté goes Antonio Donnarumma goes Mario Mandzukic goes .. Now there is enough space to bring good players .. of course if we have money for shopping

    1. Calha leader? Really?! It seems you haven’t watched any Milan matches this year. Where was he in the last 2 games? In the shadows.

Take a look at Kessie. Now that’s a leader! Calha is overrated and only plays well every 5th match or so. We need better.

      1. It’s right this year he’s had a dip in form and that’s I guess happened after the injury/covid crisis- affected the whole harmony from last year. If you’ve watched the first half of this season (together with the ending of the last) Calha was actually pivotal and the understanding he formed with Ibra has brought many valuable points.. not only qualified for the UCL but to be second, which is NOT undeserved or overachieving for a young team that can be at the top for 19 rounds and more- something is due to the playmaker

but at 27- Calha is at crossroads, huge money is awaiting or he can play against the elites to show if he’s really a champion. I mean how many seasons staying at Milan only to leave exact now?

  3. now that milan has qualified for UCL, Chanaloglu should leave.Milan should renew Donaruma’s contract, freez him out of the team and sell him out too. I hate nonsense

    1. Remember that this players you hate was there during our defficult time.the only players that should live Milan is castillejo,Antino donaruma, Mario, meite, Conte, caldera, lazale bring belotti and develop Eli Hailie from the youths to senior team l like the way that boy play and bring begeba back

  4. Illicic is old but a very good player he knows how to build a team work
On striker Belotti is my preferred choice while milan can keep most of our on loan players except Meïté
Daniel Maldini should be allowed to return to milan youth team in other to free up space for a new player

  5. Hakan out, Castillejo Out, Mandzukic Out, De Paul IN, Belotti IN, Lucas Vázquez or Lozano IN. With these players we can figth!!
