CM: Milan’s probable XI to face Porto – Krunic and Kalulu in line for starts

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not have much time to enjoy the thrilling comeback win against Hellas Verona as they have a very important game against Porto tomorrow.

Calciomercato.com writes that Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Brahim Diaz, Alessandro Florenzi and the disqualified Franck Kessie are all certain to miss the game, but the good news is that Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to training with the squad.

Ante Rebic is also expected to miss out with a sprained ankle that thankfully has not affected his ligaments, but he should be back for the game against Bologna. In training today Pioli lined up Pierre Kalulu among the presumed starters as the right-back, while Davide Calabria should start on the left over Fode Ballo-Toure.

Sandro Tonali should return from the first minute alongside Ismael Bennacer with Saelemaekers, Krunic (ahead of Daniel Maldini despite the latter having been tried among the starts) and Rafael Leao behind Olivier Giroud.

Milan’s probable XI vs Porto (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Tomori, Kjaer, Calabria; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Krunic, Leao; Giroud.
