AC Milan remain in talks with Spurs over the potential signing of Emerson Royal and hope to find a meeting point soon, according to a report.
According to Calciomercato.com, contacts between Milan and Tottenham for Emerson Royal have not stopped and now the London club are internally evaluating the possibility of lowering their €20m demands.
It is not yet a clear opening but there is more optimism, and the will of the right-back is clear: he wants to move to Milan, with whom he has a verbal agreement over personal terms. At the beginning of next week Geoffrey Moncada will try to seal the arrival of ‘one of his real obsessions’.
However, if he were to join then it would raise questions about the number of right-backs in the squad, given Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Pierre Kalulu and Filippo Terracciano can all play there.
Enquiries about Terracciano have arrived in the last month and Florenzi suffered a knee injury last night that is being assessed, but it seems as though Moncada and Fonseca have decided that the right defensive lane needed to be improved.
In the meantime, talks are continuing over Youssouf Fofana, Strahinja Pavlovic, Lazar Samardzic and Niclas Fullkrug.

Samardzic can be a backup to RLC. We shouldn’t waste time on another RB who is not an upgrade to Calabria. Like you said we have Kalulu, Florenzi there, even that guy we bought from hellas verona play RB. Forget the name was it Teracchiano or something?

If he is so good at his job why don’t we have wc defenders, wc midfielders, and 2 wc strikers? He has been in this club for 5 years and the amount of real quality players we found is pretty low imao. The players that developed into good assets were already established players in eu, more or less.
