AC Milan’s summer transfer window continues to proceed at a rapid pace and Samuel Chukwueze should become the seventh signing of the summer.
As Calciomercato.com writes, Milan’s mercato has undergone a sensational acceleration over the last 36 hours as the management team of Giorgio Furlani, Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio secured the arrival of Noah Okafor, with Chukwueze to follow.
The Spanish club gave a sign that an agreement has been reached as the Nigerian winger was fully left out of their friendly match against Hannover yesterday, not even being named in Quique Setien’s squad.
On Monday the last remaining economic details should be resolved and Chukwueze should travel to Italy to take the second and last non-EU slot available.
Milan will pay Villarreal €25m as a fixed amount plus bonuses (to go up to €28m) while a five-year contract is ready for the player, who would fly out to meet the team in the USA.
