Yunus Musah was questioned about his future at Valencia today and did not give much away, while AC Milan are plotting a new attempt to sign him.
Calciomercato.com write how Valencia are having their first day of preseason today just as Milan are, and Musah was asked by reporters for a comment while on his way in to the training complex to which he replied: “I’m happy to be here.”
However, there are plenty of rumours surrounding the USA international. He is under contract June 2024 and for this reason he has become a target for Milan, but also for other foreign clubs such as Fulham and Monaco because of the chance for a low-cost deal.
Valencia have a delicate financial position too but the LaLiga side nevertheless continues to demand no less than €25m in order to sell one of their most talented players. They have rejected the first Milan offer of €15m plus bonuses to reach €17-18m.
CEO Giorgio Furlani is willing to make a new attempt for Musah, who remains one of the major midfield targets alongside Tijjani Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar.
A new attempt from Milan will be needed, also to satisfy the desire of the player who has already opened the hypothesis of a return to Italy, where he spent a few years growing up.
