CM: Napoli could sacrifice €50m star – Real Madrid and Barcelona join Milan and PSG in pursuit

The future of Napoli star Fabian Ruiz is still to be resolved with a number of top clubs now circling, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) reported last week that Ruiz does not want to renew with Napoli, with his contract expiring in 2023, and Milan are also apparently showing an interest in signing him. Il Corriere dello Sport (via CM.it) then confirmed that PSG, Milan and especially Juventus are interested.

According to Calciomercato.com, his situation is currently in a stalemate. He received €1.5m net per season at Napoli which is one of the lowest in the squad, but De Laurentiis is happy to offer a new contract if a release clause of €100m is included. However, the ex-Betis midfielder wants to have more freedom should an offer from a top club arrive.

There is no shortage of admirers for Fabián Ruiz as he is followed above all by PSG and Atletico Madrid, but also by Real Madrid and Barcelona. De Laurentiis is also considering the idea of making some money from his sale, around €50-60m to be precise.

Then, the Partenopei could move for Rodrigo De Paul as his replacement given their excellent relations with Udinese. A lot will depend on the coaching situation though as Gattuso could leave with Spalletti, Allegri, Galtier and Sarri again all options.
