CM: Pioli considers key change in attack ahead of Milan’s trip to Parma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to drop Krzysztof Piatek from the starting line-up for the upcoming trip to Parma, a report claims.

The Rossoneri’s problems scoring goals so far this season are well documented, with just 12 goals scored through the first 13 rounds of the season, something which has contributed to the team’s current position in the bottom half of the Serie A table.

Solutions have been proposed, with a number of outlets suggesting that Milan are in for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and will look to sign him as a free agent.

The form of Piatek has come under serious scrutiny, with the Poland international having netted just once from open play so far in the current campaign, and he fired a blank in Saturday’s draw with Napoli.

According to Calciomercato.com, Pioli could give Rafael Leao an opportunity from the start given that Piatek has failed to impress in recent weeks, something which could be decisive for the Portuguese starlet.
