AC Milan did not have Rade Krunic in the starting line-up or on the bench for last night’s game against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia as speculation continues to mount about his future.
Krunic was not named in the squad for last night’s win over Cagliari due to back issues, or at least that was the official reason given, while he seems to have fallen to the bottom of Stefano Pioli’s midfield hierarchy.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Krunic is currently experiencing a difficult moment and a change of scenery might well be on the cards after offers arrived but were rejected during the summer window.
It is Fenerbahce above all who are pushing to bring him to Istanbul just as they did a few months ago. Contacts have resumed while Milan are waiting for a concrete offer to sanction the sale, which would need to be around €4-5m as per the source.
If Krunic’s departure were to materialise, a new addition might well be needed in the middle of the pitch given that Pioli will have to do without Tommaso Pobega for several months and with Ismael Bennacer involved in the African Cup of Nations with Algeria.

4-5 million… as I expected. Half. And Fenerbahce will come in with 3 million and we’ll take that I bet.
We really should have sold him last summer. But Someone’s Heir would say we should have never. Above all the same team that offered 10 million will now likely offer 3 million. They won’t even meet the 4-5 million we’re asking.
What an error.
It is still capital gain.
It is very difficult to choose which player deserves high salary due to players fluctuations in plays and risks of injuries if they reach 29 years old.
After player reach 29, he starts to drop in his evolution building.
Selling Krunic is better option for future and give Zeroli more chance.
Zeroli isnt ready yet..last night he looked the shakiest among all youngster.
Well look who’s back in fashion, the old hated one lol 😂
Thought he was forgotten for a while but I’m guessing he’s going to star in January, we have a nice little transfer window period ahead 😁
Lord Krunic should have got ten year extension at 6 million a season.
Should have cashed in proper on him when we had the chance. But then again, it begs asking, how did Krunic become unfavourable by the coach this fast ?
Krunic wanted a respectable salary but maybe acted indifferent during training which caught Pioli’s attention. It disrespected him and the club. But that’s just a maybe
