CM: PSG back in for Theo Hernandez – Milan’s stance, huge asking price and Leonardo talks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are determined to hold on to Theo Hernandez amid recent advances from Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

Theo Hernandez’s importance to Milan cannot be understated as he has established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in the world since his arrival from Real Madrid back in 2019. In his second season at the club he somehow surpassed an incredible first season with 8 goals and 8 assists in 45 games in all competitions.

Calciomercato.com writes that under Stefano Pioli he is undergoing a technical and tactical growth and between the two there is a strong bond that goes beyond the on-field dynamics. Big European clubs are interested, including PSG who like Theo a lot and have reignited their interest after the failed attempt last summer.

Leonardo has expressed his intentions to the agent of the left-back and contacts have been going on for several days, but Milan have not yet received any official offer from the French club. Director Paolo Maldini wants to keep him and Theo is not on the market, considering the fact his contract is expiring in 2024. The club consider him to worth at least as much as his brother Lucas: €80m.
