CM: Ramadani key to Milan’s market – the three clients under discussion

By Oliver Fisher -

As the wheels of AC Milan’s summer transfer plans begin to turn, it has emerged that agent Fali Ramadani could play a key role in events.

As Calciomercato.com report, Milan’s mission is to sell players more effectively than before and use the available budget to invest in young talent that can grow alongside an already established core.

It is a mission that is not simple, but there is a common theme between the selling and buying phases, which is Fali Ramadani and the LIAN Sports Group which he founded.

It starts with Ante Rebic, who is outside of the club’s plans and CEO Giorgio Furlani is waiting for Ramadani – nicknamed the ‘Raiola of the East’ – to find a new club for the Croatian forward in a short time.

Some enquiries have recently arrived with Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Wolfsburg having asked for information, but no bid has arrived. Milan are now willing to accept a lower amount than the initial valuation of €10m, in order to get rid of a salary of €3.5m net per season.

Looking at potential replacements, there are two candidates from the LIAN Sports Group and therefore by Ramadani. One is Luka Romero, an 18-year-old Argentina international who will leave Lazio on a free in less than two weeks.

He scored only one goal against Monza last November but Maurizio Sarri never game him much trust, but Milan feel like he good be a good fit for the right wing position and he also matches up with the ideas of the project.

The Rossoneri will not only have to overcome the competition from various clubs in Argentina and Spain, but also resolve the obstacle represented by the commissions requested by Ramadani.

In addition to Romero, Milan are also closely following Arda Guler, an 18-year-old Turkish attacking midfielder owned by Fenerbahce. He is a left-footer who can play both in the middle and on the right.

Guler is fast, technical and unpredictable, making him one of the most promising talents on the European scene as evidenced by his inclusion in The Guardian’s Top 60 of the strongest players born in 2005.

He has a contract with Fenerbahce until June 2025 and his agreement includes a release clause of €17.5m, which was activated thanks to the number of appearances made during the last season.

Milan will have to decide whether to pay the sum provided for in the clause or try to enter into negotiations with the player’s agents, to try to lower the claims of the Istanbul club.

  1. Activate his release clause with 2 years installment if we dont have cash money. At least he can learn lots from Kamada. Sign on free for luka romero.

    1. You can`t do that. You either pay the full amount or you did not activate his release clause. They can agree with the club but it is not the same…

      1. Actually you can as long as both club can reach agreement.

For example Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea, they paid the release clause, iirc 108m, but they will pay it in installment.

        1. Tell me where did you study law? You cannot activate a release clause by agreeing with someone. If you do not understand what I am talking about it is fine, but do not teach me of stuff you obviously have 0 clue about…Chelsea paid an agreed transfer fee in installments, did not activate the release clause from the contract…

  2. Kamada, Thiago Almada and Lucas Romero would be a good signing. Kamada would be a good player for DM and AM. Almada and Romero are good for AM and LW/RW.

  3. Arda Güler is the biggest talent Milan has been linked to. Only reason we are in the race is because of his release clause. Otherwise we would be outbid very quickly. I would like to have Güler & Romero for the right wing!!!

  4. Go get both RW from nigeria ( hard to write his name ) & Guler . Sell junior & saladmaker . Priority sell deadwood on bench first like origi, rebic, junior, ballo toure

  5. Both Guler and Romero sound exciting options. At the very least it gives us fans a young player to be hopeful and optimistic about.
